Cannot connect to internet. Reset doorbell 10 times. App recognizes the bar code and sounds the acceptance tone. Then it says “ searching for devices”. The white ring of lights turns to all red. Then the app says it cannot find any devices. Getting ready to take the loss and toss it in the trash. Customer support is as helpful as a two legged stool. Please help

A couple of things to try:

  • make sure the app is allowed to access your wifi
  • make sure the phone is connected to the same wifi network as the camera
  • make sure the network is using WPA2 (AES) security
  • disable 5 ghz wifi in your router (if it has that option).

Also, if you are onboarding to a guest network, make sure that the client devices aren't isolated from each other.
