Wireless Db won't record

Wont record video.

I have read all the strings and arlo data that tells me how to record without a subscription, I have verified base camera connections, settings etc. used several usb but still no recordings....

Can I get get a final answer if this possible at all without a subscription? or I need to PAY?

    It is possible to get motion recordings w/o s subscription, but not manual recordings.

     

    Can you clarify what doorbell/camera(s) and base station you are have?

     

    Also, have you ejected the USB drive and checked for recordings on the PC?

It is possible to get motion recordings w/o s subscription, but not manual recordings.

Doorbell AVD2001, BASE VMB4000r3

So on usb i do have recordings but unable to see in app. I have connected to base and to wifi direct either way nothing on app only usb off pc. That's not helpful...

I hope there is an other option than buy a new base or buy a new something....

There are some limitations

  • recordings only available in the app (not the browser)
  • recordings only available in the primary account (not friend accounts)
  • no manual recordings
  • no thumbnails
  • remote access requires either port forwarding in the router or a vpn - both of which can be complicated to set up.

it was cheaper to buy service than to upgrade base.

Great way to make you sign up for service! 

But now when I do upgrade Ill look for another system and not automatically go with Arlo.
