Wire free doorbell: Trying to grant access to other users

Just installed a new doorbell and set up myself as admin/user. Granted access to husband yesterday, still no access. We are not at all clear about what steps he has to take to have access, as the invitation email asks him to create an account; which he has done and then he is instructed to pair to the doorbell, which has not yet worked. I cannot see in any of the information provided where he should pair his phone to the doorbell, so that is the first question: Does he need to pair his phone to the doorbell and if so, how?

If he is not supposed to pair, why is he not being given access? He has tried on both his smartphone and his laptop and my PC, with no success. 

Can someone please walk us through exactly what he should do once I have sent the Grant Access invitation?

The long and short is for the granted user to accept the invite using a pc, click on link to open a browser to the login page and login using their account credentials.

After that install the arlo app on the mobile device and he should see the cameras.

I finally got his phone and followed the steps and got access. No idea what he was doing, but it works now. Thanks!
