I have two Arlo Essential Video doorbells, both AVD2001, that gave up on me at the same time. They went offline in the app a couple of weeks ago and I've tried a lot of things, but nothing works.
The first problem I encountered was when both of the batteries would drain super quickly. Two months ago they would both last around a month before needing to be recharged. The week before the gave up I had to charge the batteries a couple of times, as they would drain during one day of use.
Then one day, with freshly charged batteries, both of them just died. Went offline in the app and stopped working. I tried to reset them, but they were just dead.
I ordered new batteries, original, from Amazon. Charged them up and tried again. The Doorbells tries to boot up but then freezes with the halo glowing. I tried to reset them once again and got as far in the process past the QR code scanning part. But when the Arlo app tries to find the doorbell in the network it can't find it and the doorbell once again freezes up.
The doorbells are bought on different occasions, one being around 5 years old and the other one being 3 years old.
Do anyone have any suggestions on what to try next?
I can also add that I have other Arlo products in the app working fine.

When resetting the doorbell, be sure you're following the directions closely:

You also need to remove the doorbell from your account to be able to connect it again.

I’ve tried that on both of them, followed the instructions from start to finish. The problem is that the doorbells keep freezing up after the part when you scan the QR code on the phone. Then I have to remove the battery and start over again.
This happens with both the new and the old batteries.

Use Settings, Support (Center) to select the doorbell and access official support.

I only find links to community.arlo.com and support.arlo.com under there. I’m in Sweden (Europe).

Do you have a subscription? That's needed for such contact. I'd think that Sweden would have support available.

Active subscription since 2018. I’ll see if I find anything. Thanks for the help 😊
