Push notification for recognising my mobile phone not arriving

I've had my Arlo system for a few months. I had to do a factory reset of my mobile phone yesterday.  I reinstalled the Arlo Secure app but the push notification sent to my phone to verify my identity is not arriving.  If I select "try another verification method"  it shows my email address and my phone ("trusted device") but still the push notification doesn't arrive.  I also cannot sign-in to my Arlo on Windows because it doesn't recognise the phone.

What happens if you choose email?   Once you get in, you can trust the phone.
