How to use cameras in different locations?

Hello.  We have several Arlo cameras at our home and need to add a video doorbell at our daughter's apartment which is about 7 miles away.  She needs the security due to an abusive ex-boyfriend.  Can we operate the doorbell there and the cameras here under the same Arlo Secure plan?

Yes but...

There's a difference in how that would work depending on whether you see Library to view recordings (old user interface (UI)) or Feed (new UI). If you see Library, just make sure you use the 1st generation doorbell which can be added to your account with no problem. Be aware that the doorbell comes with a trial subscription and you'll need to purchase a single camera subscription when that runs out for cloud recordings.

If you see Feed (new UI), you can still add the doorbell but it will have to be set up in a second location:

That depends.  You can add it to your normal "Home" location, but you'd need to control her camera together with yours.  If you want her camera to be always armed, then likely that won't be a problem. 

But if you want to control her camera independently, then you'll want to set it up as a separate location.  That will require a second subscription for her camera.
