Hide camera from device list (but not remove)

I had my Arlo wireless doorbell stolen.

I understand that if I don't remove the device from my system, the device cannot be registered by the thief. Good.

Not removing the device still shows the "Your Arlo device appears offline", which is just salt on the wound...

Is there a way to hide the stolen camera from my device list - without removing it?

No but you can rearrange the cameras (Settings, Device Order) and place it all the way on the bottom or your place of choice.
