Doorbell didn't capture visitor

I'm still trying to figure out, how everything works, but I noticed something weird.

I get notifications when I'm passing by the front-door (to get the mail or something), and I have the doorbell captures short videos of these events in my feed.
But earlier today, we had a delivery guy ringing the bell to deliver a package. The bell rang and so did the phones of my wife and me, but when I checked the feed afterwards, nothing was detected or captured.

30 minutes later my wife left the house and that was captured nicely.

Why wasn't this delivery guy captured? He waited for us to open the door and hand us the package, so it's not that he was passing by fast. There was plenty of time for the bell to detect his presence. And definitely because he rang the bell 🙂

Didn’t capture the hoodlums until they were running away

Only saw them running away, 6’ away, no faces

Can you please provide more information regarding when the camera did not capture.
