How do I get my doorbell to record in the library ? I had a free trial with Arlo Secure that expired and I do not want to continue it. When it expired, my doorbell stopped recording motions in the library.
Thanks for any help.

Well, you need the subscription to get cloud storage.

Do you have a smarthub?  If so, which model?

Smart hub model is VMB4500. I have 3 Arlo cameras that record in library and retain video for seven days free. I’m told doorbell should do the same with no subscription.

The VMB4500 is not a SmartHub which are the VMB4540 and 5000.  It's an older base that does support local recordings but can't allow the app to access them. You must eject the drive for viewing on a computer.

The doorbell, as well as any camera newer than the Pro 2, requires a subscription for cloud recordings. You can use local recordings as long as it's connected via the base instead of WiFi but you still have to eject the drive to view the videos.
