Arlo video doorbell wireless

I've installed my doorbell and chime and when you press the doorbell it activates the camera, chime, and starts talking.  However, it does not give me just motion detection when someone goes on the porch like my just replaced Ring did nor does it operate on my Apple 4 watch as the Ring did.  I have the Arlo app on the watch but it only shows my 4 inside cameras and no mention of the doorbell or a way to put it on the watch.  I do have a base station that all 5 devices are operating on..

Is it opted into the trial subscription?

Also, is it armed?

I had to turn off my indoor cameras because arming the doorbell armed them and drove me crazy in the house.  I am supposed to have a trial subscription and will try to talk to someone tomorrow..  I would like to just arm the doorbell but don't think that is possible.

What about the apple watch?  Will it work with the doorbell?  It does with the cameras which are now turned off.
