I am on my 2nd Arlo wire free door bell. Whenever someone is at my door and presses the doorbell I get a phone call on all iOS devices. Whenever I answer the doorbell call I get a grey screen. I can use the message button, mute, and hand up, but I never get a video display of who is there. I seen a community chat back In 2021 with these same issues. They updated the firmware and it resolved the issue. I have answered the call on the same wifi, a different wifi, and cellular with no luck. Is anyone else experiencing this on iOS devices?

To me, the point of having a Video Camera doorbell, is to see who's there prior to answering. I see it's value similar to caller id.

You can try removing the face-ID log in option this might be the issue.

I don't think face id has anything to do with your problem.
But to answer your question - some devices will automatically log you in when they detect your face using their camera. Apple calls this "face id". Android calls it "face unlock".

Did you still need support? a member of my team has sent you a few emails without a response.
If you have a preferred contact method you can PM me with the information and I will have them use that info.
Thanks

After working with Arlo Support over a number of sessions my issue is resolved.
They send a firmware update to my Base Station. I then had to delete the App on my iPhone and reinstall it. Issue was then resolved.
Hope this may help others.

I was told this would be done over a year ago and my doorbell still doesn’t function properly. I pay a subscription for a device that doesn’t work and they can’t tell me why or resolve the issue. Tons of people have the same issue trying to answer whenever the doorbell is pressed. Why can’t Arlo fix this?
