Adding a friend not working

I've sent a invitation to my wife to access our new wireless doorbell and chime.

We clicked on the link. Set up a new account for her using her own login and password.

She can not see the devices in the app.

In my online account it says pending next to her name.

I've granted permissions for two devices and authorized actions.

Does it take awhile for permissions to be approved? Or should we be seeing the doorbell and chime on her phone now?

If so, I'm not clear on what I did wrong. 

We are logged into the app with her account info.

We see nothing on her phone under devices or feed.

Do we try the email again?

This is a brand new Essential Wire-Free Video Doorbell and Chime 2.

The pending status indicates that the invite was never accepted.

 

The invite process doesn’t work well using a mobile, suggest you use a pc to open the invite email, select the link in the email that opens a web browser to show the login page and click on the create account button then use her account credentials to login to activate the invite. Check your account granted users status has changed to accepted.

I tried resending the invitation. It didn't work.

 

I found the original invitation, logged in and now my wife can not only hear the chime, but gets video and can chat with whoever is at the door.

 

Your suggestion that this needs to be done on a computer worked right away.

Glad I was of some help.

 

Not sure why some arlo functionality doesn’t work on apple platforms yet others do, different programming developers I guess.
