Since the latest update 3 days ago, it seems the Activity zones functionality has been removed entirely, replaced by only Privacy zones. This makes the product completely useless for us, as we live next to a busy road and the doorbell now keeps recording (as a result, battery life of < 3 weeks....). The alternative, to create Privacy zone to only allow for recording when people are literally in front of our door, literally grey blocks 90% of the screen.. please fix and bring back the Activity Zones otherwise the product is completely useless for us..

Quick Google search shows images of the app allowing for the option Activity Zones, AND/OR, Privacy Zones, however, this is not the case. There's no option, Activity Zones functionality is not available anymore, only Privacy Zones are.

We need an Activity Zone of only ~10% right in front of our door, creating a 100% live image when someone is ringing our bell/in front of our door. The way it was UNTIL new release ~3 days ago. We do NOT need a grey blocked Privacy image of ~90% as that's completely useless.

I've tried to upload printscreens from the images for support purposes, but even that does not seem to be possible from mobile phone..

Using Android app. Latest firmware *0002

FIXED myself. After hours in the app, I found the 'subscriptions' section and it turned out that Arlo had put my camera Inactive behind the Intelligent Notifications. If Inactive camera behind Intelligent notifications, the Zones options at camera settings will be removed entirely and the camera continue to create images tagged with general movement. When you drag the camera to Active section in main menu Subscribtions under Intelligent Notifications, you get back the Zones menu and option for both Activity and Privacy..

Weird that Arlo makes changes and app settings are being changed. Very frustrating

What doorbell model do you have?

Also, do you see "Feed' and "Dashboard" in your app menu?  Or do you instead see "Library"?

You should be able to upload either png or jpg screenshots.  If you have a PC, you can of course email the screenshots to yourself and then upload fomr the PC.

Odd.  I see tiles for both activity zones and privacy zones when I select "zones" in the app.  Though this is on an iPhone running 6.6.4.  Also, I am using the "Feed" interface?

Are you seeing both tiles (just unable to select one)?

Also, have you checked your subscription status for the doorbell?

No idea what *0002 is - can you post the full app version?

Latest doorbell wireless, less than 1 year old (surprised you're asking as I selected before posting)

No upload via mobile possible

No activity, just privacy zone. Completely removed. Not 2 tiles, not a tile at all - just privacy zone in main menu...

Latest Samsung, latest Android.

Not sure what you mean by subscription status. Less than 1 year old, always paid...

arlo 6.6.0_6060002

Your number.....

Latest app, Dutch (Netherlands) language

Incredibly frustrating as it keeps recording and recording and recording as next to busy road....... please give back the Activity Zones functionality

The Arlo Video Doorbell Wire-Free refers to the AVD2001 - which is not the most recent doorbell.  That would be the Arlo Video Doorbell 2nd Gen  (which is also wireless).

This is confusing, and lots of people make the wrong selections.  So I often confirm.
