AVD2001 no voice in phone call

Hi guys, still in the first three months of using the video doorbell (wire-free model) and most features work reasonably well. However, the calls to my phone when the “doorbell” is pushed almost never work properly. Every time I answer a call my voice is never transmitted, even with all the correct settings. I have found through trial and error that if I log out and log back in to the app (iPhone 12 Pro, latest app and OS) it works but it has only done so when I’ve been home testing it. The fix never lasts and I’ve never once had a successful call experience.
Very frustrating as this was the main selling point to the competing devices on the market. Any chance this can be fixed?

A new version of the Arlo mobile app is available on the app store. Please check the app store to make sure you have the latest version and test again to see if you still experience the same behavior.

Thanks for your reply. The app update only showed up when I searched for it in the (iPhone) App Store rather than it being amongst the list of apps with updates available.
It is too soon to tell if it has fixed the issue as I recently logged in and out again (the temporary fix).
I’ll report back here after a while once I’ve given it time to work/not work.

I’m still having lots of issues with the video call part of the doorbell. It has only worked once when I was home and on the same wifi. The main reason I bought this device over the competition was the video calling that called your phone when you were away from it. I’m on a stable 5G connection most of the time and now instead of just not having any voice connection there is only a black screen in place of the video feed.
I am constantly updating the app, checking for firmware upgrades for the device, restarting it, logging out and back in to the app. Still no success. Very disappointing considering I’m paying a subscription for all the extra features and the biggest one doesn’t work.

Within your doorbell settings, try reducing the video resolution and test again. Do you still experience the same behavior?
