I'm looking at purchasing the doorbell camera but wondering at what distance from the hub will it not function.

Hi. Essential Video Doorbell Wire-Free connects directly to your home 2.4GHz WiFi network. Just make sure the doorbell is installed within coverage range of your specific router.
