I just purchased the Arlo Video Doorbell 2nd Gen today. The Arlo app updated, and then the doorbell received a firmware update after pairing. The Apple HomeKit app shows the multiple security cameras with video feeds, except it does not recognize the Arlo Video Doorbell 2nd Gen. I can see the doorbell video in the Arlo app; the point was to have all my security video, lock, AC, TV, and light feeds/status in HomeKit.

Arlo hasn't rolled out homekit support for the 2nd gen doorbell yet.  They haven't rolled out the ability to connect the doorbell to the base station either, and that is required for homekit.

The original AVD1001 (wired doorbell) works with homekit.  The AVD2001 can connect to a base - but homekit for it is a feature promised long ago, which has yet to roll out.  I believe it is finally about to be released.  But Arlo hasn't given a timetable for the gen 2 doorbells.
