Connecting to old doorbell for power

I have the 2nd gen 2k doorbell and it came with terminals and wires, so I was wondering if I can use the wires from my old doorbell to power it. The instructions talk about 2 wires, but the old one has 5, 

grey (24Vdc), green (data), yellow (gnd), red (audio a), black (audio b), white (LK-). Is there a way I can make this work?

It sounds to me that you have an old intercom system that you're trying to replace. What you list as available voltages won't work since the doorbell is set up to use the output from a transformer which supplies AC voltage, not DC. Basically, you would need to remove not only the "doorbell" but also the wiring and replace it with the more typical 2 wire connection to a doorbell transformer (since some countries use much higher voltages than the requires 8-24VAC you may need to investigate how to get a transformer at the lower voltage). This may be easy enough to do (turn off power to the intercom, connect the new wires to the old ones and pull the wiring from the basement or wherever they pop out of the wall) but could well be more involved.

Was this originally a chime with an integrated intercom system?  If it was, then you probably need to purchase a new chime.
