"Your Request Timed Out" Log in error on Android - Oneplus 7T

Hello!
I have an issue on Android (version 10) on a Oneplus 7T. This issue is NOT happening on any of my IOS devices. I cannot log in at all. The green arrows spin for a while then a red bar appears at the top with the message "Your Request Timed Out"
Only one thing fixed the problem, clearing the app's storage, cache, uninstalling the app and then re-installing the app will allow me to log in ONE TIME only. I have to follow those steps every time I want to use the app.
Can anyone help? The chat support "exhausted" all of the support options.

Do you happen to have any other android devices you can test with on the same network? VPN? Wi-Fi or Mobile?

Sadly my phone is the only android device I have. The log in time out error occurs on Mobile and Wifi data. I do not have a VPN active.
I still can always log in once by uninstalling and reinstalling the app
