Will the old Arlo pro 2 power cables work with the Arlo Ultra?

Does anyone know if the old Arlo Pro 2 power cables work with the new Arlo Ultra? For me it was a royal pain to pull a long usb cable through the attic rafters to get to a camera pointing at my driveway. I really don’t want to do that again if I upgrade to the Ultra.

No, Pro 2 power cable is not compatible.  You will need to purchase new and they aren’t cheap.

Ouch! I hate to say this, but the more I learn about the product, the more I think marketing miscalculated their customer base. The Ultra seems to be a very expensive security system.

Yes you can but you have to tweak it a bit. Arlo Pro 2 ends MALE micro USB right? Just convert that end to a Female USB 2.0 and attach the magnetic cable that came with arlo ultra. You can search amazon or ebay regarding that adapter/ converter. It should work
