Vmc5040 Ultra camera no longer connected

Bought three VMC 4041P Pro 4 cameras, then essentials door bell several years ago. All performing exceptional. Purchased an VMC5040 ultra camera a couple of years ago. For the past 11 months was connected to VMA 6400 solar panel outside. 10 days ago, no longer able to connect. Was on customer service for about 1.5-2 hours, trying everything. Still not able to connect to base. Anyone have similar experience? Last suggestion from rep was that upload was too slow. I shut all devices off. Still no success. Purchase new battery? Or dispose of camera?

That can't be the situation, as the cameras have been installed for years.

 

Did you try the factory reset process?

  1. removing the camera from the account
  2. opening the housing and pressing the sync button until the LED flashes amber (~15 seconds)
  3. add the camera back to the account
