Video stopped saving locally

my base station (vmb4540r2) stopped recording locally. I’ve put in new usb key, disabled/reenabled local saving, restarted, power cycled, etc. I’ve check the usb drive and no files are there. No outstanding firmware or software updates. Any thoughts?

Arlo sent out firmware updates for various bases yesterday and today, which include a fix for this.
