Unless something changed the app does not have the ability to delete, you would need to put the SD in your computer to delete individual files.

Yes. You can remove videos downloaded to the phone, but that doesn't delete them from the SD card.
Personally I'm ok with that. People often do ask here about how to restore deleted recordings, and in many cases they need them for law enforcement. Not being able to delete is usually a minor inconvenience.
Though some businesses might have retention policies, so it would be good to have an optional max retention setting.

maybe a minor inconvenience for some. You I am sure have every subscription offered lol. But until they fix the not overwriting issue it's a problem for those using smaller SD cards. If I finally give up on issues and go without a plan I don't wan't 3000 useless video's of bee's and birds's and slight breezes to search through. If a notification comes in and I see one then I want to click delete now, the police will find a use for it either.

I do have some cameras that aren't on a subscription. While I said I was "ok with it" personally, I do understand that others would feel differently - and I'd also be fine if they allowed deletion from local storage. FWIW, some folks don't want recordings to be deleted, at most they want to hide them.
On the iPhone - I do have the app running on an iPad, but I rarely use it. Generally I am using Android. Occasionally I clear the data cache, just to make sure there is no residual data building up.

They definitely need to fix that (and personally I don't understand why they established a 16 GB minimum).
