The oddity of when I sync to my vmb5000 it times out on the pairing process and isn’t ever identified within the arlo app but I am able to view in HomeKit suite but since i don’t have secure video then it just is able to do live footage only

Not sure of what you're saying but I would remove everything from Settings, My Devices as well as hold the hub's reset button for >10 seconds, until the LED flashes amber. Let the hub reboot to a solid blue LED (~2 minutes), claim the hub normally and connect any cameras again.
