One of my 5 cameras started showing half normal and half magenta toned image with a distinct break between the two. I charged the battery however the problem persisted. The image then completely shifted as if the lense twisted.
I then removed the 4 screws to expose the internal components and it appears the photo sensor (must like those in todays SLR cameras) is cracked.
I can assure Arlo and the Community the camera has not been dropped.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Will Arlo accept responsibility even though my cameras are likely beyond any warranty period. I do have an active data storage subscription.

There have been reports on here about the filter being stuck with the screen being shown as purple. I've experienced that myself and my camera wasn't dropped, though I didn't check anything inside. Removing the battery resolved the issue for me.
Since you opened the camera, it's likely that its warranty, if it was still in place, has been void.
If you're in the UK, you can take the matter up with the seller for up to 6 years in England/Wales and 5 years in Scotland to make a claim against the trader for goods being faulty when sold. It's up to you to prove that to the seller and though difficult, it's not impossible (from my experience).
Similar laws may be in operation in the EU but check Europa's website.
Obviously if the other cameras don't display that kind of behaviour, it may be harder to prove and to claim.
Your contract (purchase) is always with a trader and never with a manufacturer, unless you buy directly from them. Even if there was a widespread issue with these cameras, any recalls would be voluntary by Arlo and probably unlikely.
The statutory warranty period depends on the country but in the UK and and EU is 12 months and any claims are made to the trader. Anything above that is offered by a manufacturer as a sign of goodwill gesture.
Some companies are also better at recalls (IKEA) than others.
