I have arlo ultra 4 k. And basestation

It donot store the video anymore

I Can see via micro sd card if I take it to my Mac. But I cannot anymore see on my iPhone via the app. Try everything I Think

For the Ultra are you talking about Cloud or Local recordings or both? Do you have a current subscription for cloud recordings? I assume since you mentioned SD card you have a VMB5000 Smart Hub instead of the ones you listed, is that correct?

Local recordings Yes correct

I could store Yesterday But today it was not posseble to see or download videos via mobil. But micro sd in Mac I could see
So,,, now after many hours. Try all things. It suddenly start work again
I do not know what of all the changings settings in my iPhone I did as helped
But It work now!

Cannot download or see the videos from my notifikations when I am away from my place,,! I Can see live But Im not able to see what happend after Got a notofication. And are outside my Home wifi??
But soon as Im Home. I Can see the videos on my app on my phone!!

You either need to 

  • set up port forwarding in the app and your router
  • set up a VPN in your router and on your phone

Have you tried to do either?

Is your phone Apple?  Or is it Android?

How do I do that ! It looks to be very complicatet !

I have not try that yet. Because I could not find out
It’s the only thing I need to do Then everything works good

In the case of port forwarding, the steps in the app are discussed here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062337/What-is-Direct-Storage-Access-and-how-do-I-use-it

 

But you also need to adjust the settings in the router.  That should be covered in the manual for the router.

I give it up allready now. Wont even try

You can get a subscription for the Ultra to see Cloud recordings. I does cost but much more simpler then Local storage and gives some additional options.

Every morning next day
Video store is not working?
It has been the same the larst severeal days. In the afternoon suddenly all the videos are to see on the app. I dont know what it do
If I get notification. I look in libary. But nothing there

Hi Peterhe,

 

As dcfox1 mentioned, you will need an Arlo subscription to receive cloud recordings. If you don't have a subscription, you will only receive push notifications. You can read more about it here:

You just saved me from a trip to the local Electronic shop
Because I hoped they could be able as a retailer of Arlo could tell me why I not any more Can see local store videos ,,,

I try to pay for an cloud acount. But that did not work either,,,,!

Could you explain more of what didn't work? Are you not receiving recordings after purchasing an Arlo Secure subscription plan? Or are you unable to purchase an Arlo Secure subscription plan?

I have now after 3 days strugling
Got it up running perfect,,,,
I do not exatly know what I did.

Only thing is if Im outside the Lan wifi
Im not able to see stored videos after a notification. Only live
It would have been good to been able to see libary when on holiday
When Im Home again all the stored videos are Then avaiable again on sd card or app

As I think I said before, you either need to set up port forwarding or a VPN to access your local videos when away from home.  You should be able to see them everywhere with a subscription.

 

There were issues using a VPN with Android phones - not sure if they are resolved now or not (I switched to iPhone last December).
