Hi All,

Can anyone please help?

Arlo smart hub was blinking orange this morning, tested Ethernet cable unplugged it from smart hub and from router & unplugged power from device annd from the wall.  Internet is working and the smart hub is showing in my internet devices.

Tried factory reset, it updated firmware, reconnected 2 ultra cameras, but both cameras are showing as offline and the smart hub is again blinking orange.

Tried again to power cycle and unplug and replug Ethernet back in, still blinking orange and cameras showing as offline (they have battery and are connected to solar panel chargers)

any advice would be greatly appreciated as I’m at a loss and need them to work 😔

I think the next step is to remove the ultras from the account, and do the hardware reset on them as well.

Thanks I have tried to do this, smart hub is now active and only showing a blue light and shows as online in the app however when I try to re add the cameras I seem to be in some loop, it’s says a base station has been found, I press continue, it checks for updates, no updates found again I press continue but it takes me no where.

Sorry update managed to add one camera back however when it comes up for video positioning it doesn’t load and the home base is back to blinking orange, though again when I check the device via the router settings it is connected to the internet & there is no connection problem..

How close is the camera to the hub? It may be too far away for a good connection (could also be too close so separate them some).

So I managed to get them working again after resetting everything and re pairing however the cameras have today again gone offline. I have had them in the same position for the last 5 years with no issues, one is approximately 6 metres away from the hub and the other is approximately 5 metres away.

incredibly frustrating when these are used for safety and they keep going “offline” again both have full battery capacity, also connected to the solar panels, the smart hub light is blue and connected to the internet.

really at a loss as to what to do, I don’t think that having to reset the cameras daily should be required.

any further advice would be greatly appreciated 😞

Does power-cycling the smarthub also bring the cameras back on-line?

How far away is the smarthub from your router?
