When setting up Ultra 3rd Gen cameras and Smart Hub at a temporary location without an established WiFi set up, is it possible to connect the Smart Hub to a Verizon TCL Linkzone 5g uw hotspot device?

That should work if you connect the smarthub to the Linkzone's ethernet port.
You do need 3 mbps of upload bandwidth for each camera (assuming all will stream at once from time to time).
Setting up local storage as a backup is worth considering. Remote access to local storage isn't normally possible with a hotspot, since it does not support port forwarding or a suitable VPN. But you would be able so view it if the phone is connected to the hotspot wifi.
You could also get Arlo Go 2 cameras that connect directly to the Verizon network.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the Go 2 cameras would need a sim card/plan for each camera, right? Using the Ultra 3rd Gen, Smart Hub, and Linkzone I will need a hotspot plan for the Linkzone only.
What I'm trying to piece together is a "system in a box." 2 or more cameras that I can set up in a location for short periods of time (7-14 days at a time). I have to provide connectivity (can't rely on having a wifi signal to connect to/would want to bring my own). My current thought is:
Ultra 3rd Gen Cameras (x2) - temp install
Smart Hub
Linkzone 5g hotspot (with service)
- live stream when motion is detected
- local storage of video (no cloud storage)

Correct.
