The scheduler in the app has some issues, for example you can’t schedule cameras to arm from 8p - 8a. You have to schedule two times because the app won’t let you run am - pm. So one for 8p - 11:59p and another from 12a - 8a. Seems like a glitch that would be easy to fix. Anyone else encounter this? Also it would be cool to schedule cameras to arm separately.

Everyone. 'twas ever thus.

That seems to be how Arlo designed it. Once you know what is going on it is relatively easy to accommodate

The way to go about that is to create custom modes that include the camera that you want to activate. Then set up a schedule that switches between modes in a way that brings in the cameras that you want to do their stuff at the appropriate time. For example, a Night mode can handle one set of cameras, maybe an Indoor mode for other circumstances.

What are modes and rules and how does Arlo use them?

How do I configure and use the Schedule option?

Just play around with the logic until you are happy. Fiddly, but you can usually devise a strategy that  delivers what you want.
