Schedule via Sunrise/Sunset not working after UI Upgrade

Hi All, 

 

This is more an FYI / addition to the manual to save others from spending hours on the support chat only to get someone that doesn't understand the problem/provide a solution. 

 

I had a problem where I had updated to the new UI, but couldn't create schedules for my cameras. The two schedules I was trying to create was to switch modes at sunrise and sunset. 

 

However when filling out the schedule form and finally clicking Save it just sat there hanging. The Save button had lit up (wasn't grey - it was green) but when I clicked it nothing would happen. Doing this through the web UI would just give me a spinner and hang until I reloaded the page. 

 

The solution was that I didn't have Home Location set up. Go to settings (on the devices page, click the little person icon), then click on Home under the Locations heading. You can then enter in an address and then adding a schedule via sunrise/sunset will work!

 

Suggested product enhancement - if someone tries to add a schedule without a home set, just give them a prompt! Even better, give them a button to direct them to the home setup setting page.
