For the past week I've had one of my 3 ultra cameras that will not connect. Today I discovered that the base station by design follows my routers wifi channel. When I change the wifi channel in the router to be different to the smarthub/camera the camera is able to connect, the other cameras also respond quicker when viewing them live. There doesn't seem to be a manual setting to overide this strange behaviour of following the routers wifi channel.
We are on a large property with no wifi interference from any neighbours, and it seems like a poor design a/ to make this happen, b/ to not be able to change it.
What is the solution so that my camera setup is not rendered useless my poor network design.

The only option I'm aware of is to move the base unit away from the router... when more than 25+ feet it tends to stay on the same channel ( at least the other bases do )
