Upgraded earlier on to 1 arlo ultra with the new basestation, before this and working until i changed it over the old basestation with 3 arlo pro 2 cameras, now i am not getting a notification for my new arlo ultra but the recording appears in the app, the other arlo pro 2 cameras still get notifcations any ideas? Ive removed the app and reinstalled, not got any low batter options turned on, it was working fine until i changed over so i doubt its my phone or my internet as i have fibre to the premises, my phone is a iphone xs max 256gb, thanks

Check your active mode to make sure the rules have push notifications enabled for the Ultra camera.

 

You should also check your Smart Notifications within the mobile app to make sure the appropriate toggles are selected. You can find these under Settings > Arlo Smart > Smart Notifications > select the desired camera > check the toggles for desired smart notifications

Thanks, i think i may have fixed it however can you confirm this for me please.

 

I have turned say animals off in the smart notifications so i dont want to be alerted to this, will it still record say a cat walking past my property but then not send an alert to sat animal detected etc? thanks

Nah it still appears to be broken, my mate tested it for me, loads in the cloud recordings,  so i can see it in there but no notifcation on my phone, how do i get support with this as it's not cheap and not working the way i intend it too, everything it was fine until i swapped the base station and the front camera over so i doubt its my equipment, thanks

I have selected email on all cameras as well as push notifications and i get the emails ok when motion is detected but intermittenly i get push alerts for motion.

 

 

I have an iphone xs max 256gb, i have reset the basestation, i have deleted and re-added the cameras,  i have restarted everything, deleted and readded the arlo app several times, i think there is a bug on the notifications, i have also

ensured that all notifcations are active on the phone etc, as well as the app, everything worked fine until i put the new camera and basestation up,  if i can't resolve this i will be sending these back and getting my money back.

Just wondering if they have managed to fix this bug on a firmware update, do notifications now work ok with the new arlo ultra and the new basestation, thanks?

Who knows? Hard to know given the lack of information you provide.

 

All I can say is that my Ultra cameras happily send notifications.

 

A lot has happened in the four months since this message. Do you have a problem that needs fixing?
