Purchased 2 Arlo Ultra Cameras. Successfully mounted one outdoors with included outdoor mount. Tried to put the other one on old Arlo outdoor mount. Noticed that there is a difference in the way the new mount and the old mount is configured. I am having trouble getting the old mount to hold the camera in position. I cannot find anywhere to buy an individual outdoor mount specific to the Arlo like the one that came in the package. If you have successfully been able to mount your Ultra on the old Arlo outdoor mount, please advise if you had to make any modifications to the old mount or are experiencing issues with weight of the Ultra Camera and keeping it in position. Thank you for your help.

What is the problem? I have Arlo cameras of different generations on various mounts.
They all use the same camera "thread".
Or is it a wiring issue?
The only difference I can see between the "stub" mount that comes with the Ultra cameras and those available in the "accessories" store is the length.

Yes, I agree the the threading on the screws is the same. However, on the mounting apparatus that comes with the Ultra, the side screw attaches and screws into an indentation on the screw which gives it more stability. I wish I would have taken a picture of it before mounting.
My old mount is mounted at a 90 degree angle to the house and the weight of the Arlo Ultra would not allow it to stay in a stable position. I may be missing something which is why I posted this thread.
