If so, are there any plans to implement this? Or better still make the base station available on the local LAN as a Windows share or some such.
Arlo hasn't said anything about this, and rarely comments on future "products" before they happen. It only told us about "local access" because there was an uproar when people discovered that they did not get a free cloud account with Ultra cameras.
If you want this to happen, put in a "feature request".
For personalized support specific to the Arlo products you own, access Support from within the Arlo iOS or Android App. Simply login to your Arlo App, go to Settings, Support, then select the Arlo product you would like support for.
