We have a number of ARLO cameras that we want to keep live all year round.

then we have some cameras that are seasonal. For example we have a camera watching each of our three docks. The docks are removed and stored for the season, so those cameras are not monitoring anything.  Would it be better to take those down. OR is a problem keeping them up ?

There's no technical reason to take them down.  But no harm in taking them indoors during the off-season either.

I'd take the batteries out if not in use.
