Just put the sd card into my computer and all of the recordings appear to be there at the correct time intervals.  How do I access these recordings without removing the sd card?

These recordings do not appear in the library.

I want these for backup but want to see and be able to view from the library.

@S-Mar

Currently, viewing these recordings without removing the card from the base is not possible, but I have read that this restriction may be changed in the future.

So if I turn off            SD Card Recording        in

My Devices > (Arlo Smart Hub Base Station) > Local Storage

but I leave on        4K Video Recording

It still does not put the recordings in my Library.

I get push notifications but no recordings.

How can it be recording but not recording

@S-Mar

There are severa things to check here.

Were you able to purchase the Smart Premier or Elite Subscription?

If the answer is Yes, then did you purchase the PVR, (Premium Video Recording), subscription to be able to record in 4k?

Can you View Live? In the Video Settings for the camera, have the Local Live Streaming set to On.

If you enable the Zoom and Track, the videos will be in 1080p and you should be able to view the videos in your Library.

Answer these questions and if you still can not view the videos in your Library, then we will have to dig further. You want to leave the SD Card Recording and 4K Video Recording switches on in the Storage Settings page of The Hub Settings so that the videos will still be able to record to the SD card for backup.
