Do i absolutely need a smartphone to set up an arlo ultra and use it to record locally in SD card?

Just after unpacking the new Arlo Ultra with its SmartHub, i want to use it to record localy in an sd card.

My smartphone is broken.

Do i absolutely need a smartphone to set up an arlo ultra and to use it to record localy in an sd card ?

Or can i use a computer to do so ?

Yes you can use the web client my.arlo.com on computer to set it up.
