I have repeated the add friend exactly as it was described, accept invite via web, then go to mobile ios app. Tried via a new account, doesn’t work. This has happened two years ago as well, was an issue on the server side. I’m afraid it is again like that. Anyone that could help? Please , thanks for your time in advance

Does the invite show up as accepted in your account?

There are now two interfaces supported by the app - which one you get depends on how the Arlo Cloud is set up for your account. One shows "Feed" and "Dashboard", the other shows the older "Library' interface.
These need to match in order for the "friend" account feature to work. It is not possible to migrate from "Feed" to "Library", but there is a hack to migrate from "Library" to "Feed". That hack is to go into "add device" and start to add a Pro 5s camera. The process will fail if you don't have the camera. But the workflow will migrate your account to "Feed" before you get stuck.
There are some limitations with Feed that you should be aware of.
- With "Feed", modes apply to all cameras in a location - they are not independent.
- Feed does not support custom modes. You can modify the three built-in modes, but you cannot add new ones.
- The combination of geofencing+scheduling does not fully work (particularly when you arrive)
- If you have cameras at multiple homes and currently have a subscription, then you likely will need to get one subscription for each home.
