Base - VMB5000r6

Cameras Ultra 2 qty 2

Phone - Samsung Galaxy A42 5G

Just got a new phone. Same make and model as the old one, just a replacement for a broken one.

I can not access the videos on my base station SD card.

Sounds complicated. Never had to set up any of this when I installed the system.

That's because you had a trial subscription and were looking at the videos in cloud storage.  Or perhaps because you only viewed the local files when the phone was connected to your home wifi.

Make sure you're connected via WiFi. If you're on cell service, you have to have port forwarding set up or use a VPN.

How do you set up port forwarding

Go to your hub settings and click on Storage Settings, Local Storage Settings. You can enable port forwarding there but read the text about what it means. Exactly how to set it up on your router depends on your router configuration screens - consult the router manual/manufacturer. While you're setting port forwarding up you also need to set a static IP address for your hub in the router's DHCP settings so your access is maintained if the hub and/or router is rebooted (a reboot may cause the IP address to change).

Thanks, it was something as simple as not connected to WIFI. Phone was working fine. Hooked up to WIFI & I can see vids now.

Thanks again.
