Can system be configured to perform continuous monitoring? Can microSD card be inserted into hub?

I have 2 questions:

1) If I understand correctly, recording by the Arlo surveillance system is triggered when a motion is detected. Can the system be configured to perform continuous monitoring?

2) Can a microSD card be inserted into the Station Hub to store the continuous recording?

1) Motion is recorded when a triggered event happens.

Continuous 24/7 recording can happen if the unit is 1) ac powered 2) CVR option enabled ( paid optionm goes to cloud  )

But the CVR doesn't allow you to d/l parts of it and plays back in real time only ( triggered events are shown on the time line of the CVR recording with an additional color bar )

2) The micro mem card backup ( when installed ) only records triggered event ( will not record the cvr )
