Thanks for the reply,
My thinking was the arlo software will be playing back the feed on a laptop and the streaming software will be screen capturing that feed and live streaming it.
Can you elaborate on why you think this won't work? If it doesn't it doesnt. 😞

I am not saying that it is impossible, but there are cheaper and easier ways of accomplishing this. For about $35 each for 720P recordings and about $45 each for 1020P recordings I purchased some cameras that mount in my windows, live stream continuously to my laptop, desktop or iPad and record most events. They have an option to pay for cloud services or only record to micro SD cards in each camera. I have caught several incidences and was able to turn the footage over to the police that the Arlo cameras completely missed. Most of the Arlo cameras, while having the ability to live stream, will stop recording after 30 minutes. The Ultra camera will record to the SD card in 4k, but live streaming will be at 1020P and currently you do not have the ability to turn off cloud recordings. I believe with the basic plan that Live streaming is in 1020P.

Thanks for the reply,
I do have arlos for security as I mentioned in my original post but this quesiton is more about using one of the Ultra's for live streaming.
The Ultra's as I believe offer 4k continuous streaming so dont have the limit of the previous HD cams, and are of course wireless which is a requirement too. I could do the same with a GoPro but it would be around the same price but I'd end up using a new system and I couldn't also change it to use it as a security camera if I change my mind down the line.
My question is more about the converting the arlo stream into a live feed for say youtube etc
