Two of my Arlo Ultra cameras do not charge the batteries to 100%. They are both on AC afapters, but one show 98% and ghe other 89%. I have tried to take out the battery and resync the camera after reinserting the battery.
Do
I need to calibrate it, or is it defective?

Start by rebooting the hub and reinserting the batteries. See if the charge will complete. If not try removing one camera and resync it. Are you using the Arlo chargers?

Ok, so I removed the cameras, took out the batteries, reinstalled batteries and resync'ed the cameras, I moved the batteries to another camera from where they were and the % charged followed the battery. The % charged has not changed.
I also tried to remove one from the AC adapter and let it run the charge down, then reconnected, It still only charges to the 89% level.
The problem must be with the battery. I do have one camera that shows 100% charge, but the other two Ultras behave as described above.
