- When I tried to open the Arlo phone app today all I keep getting are is a blue screen with the Arlo logo.
what can I do to get the cameras back operating on my iPhone.

Try this:
- restart the phone
- put it into airplane mode (both wifi and mobile data disabled)
- launch the app
- wait for the internet connection failure message
- take the phone out of airplane mode.
You should then be able to log in again.
