Ultra working perfectly until two days ago -

Now, I receive notifications of motion but there are no recordings - none

any thoughts?

 

I tried restarting base, I tried restarting router - none helped

not that I figured out my problem, because I did not, 

but I re-formatted the SD  card and now all seems to be working properly again.

Do you have a current subscription? The original Ultra came with a 1 year trial if That expired. Can you make manual recordings?

i do NOT have a current subscription

 

not sure how to make a manual recording - will research and try

 

just tried removing battery from one camera and putting it back in ... same result, I get notifications but no recordings.

You need a subscription for cloud recordings.  Also, if you don't have a subscription, you won't have the option for manual recordings. 

What options will I have when my Arlo trial ends?

I do not have a subscription, I was not looking for cloud storage.

 

I do have SD card and local storage .., that is what has stopped working.

had been fine for a couple of years, but stopped working 2 days ago.

I do get notifications from my cameras, but there are no recordings.

Remove the SD card from the hub and use a computer to see if recordings are being stored properly. If not, check your active modes and rules to make sure it's supposed to be recording. Are you using the Armed mode or a custom one?

using armed mode - not custom

 

if I take out SD card, I am not sure what it will record to.  I do not have cloud storage plan.
