I knew from my Arlo Pro 2 cameras that birds are extremely interested in them. I suspect that the black face lets them believe that there is an opening they can enter. (My Pro 2 cameras are on screw mounts.)
Therefore I should not have been surprised, that when mounting my Arlo Ultra cameras outside with the magnetic mount, a bird landing on the camera causes it to fall of the mount. The magnet is simply not strong enough to hold camera and bird at the same time.

My Arlo Pro 2 cameras are on swan-neck mounts with 1/4-20 camera thread. I have not been able to find those again, unfortunately.

Unfortunately the only solution is to use the screw mount.
