App Stuck on Logo Screen & My.Arlo Log In "Request Timed Out"

We just setup out arlo Ultra cameras today and I am unable to get logged in to the app or the My.Arlo website on a desktop. My partner has his all setup with no issues. He tried adding me as a friend to the account. I had already downloaded the app and created an account before I knew you could do this. So afterwards I accepted the invite and was trying to get the app set up with our cameras through my iphone. It telling telling me it didn't recognize my device. I then tried accepting the invite on my desktop and that worked. I was able to log in to my account, Trust the device, and view our cameras. At that point, I went back to my iphone to get it setup and it wouldn't let me log in; it was stuck on the blue screen with the logo. I searched the web for a fix, found this community, and tried all the potential suggested solutions. Nothing worked. So I figured I at least would be able to view the cameras on my computer, but when I went to log back in it is now giving me a "Request Timed Out" message and does not go past the log in screen. So I can't log in on the app or the website and we only set up the cameras today. Any thoughts on how to get this working? Again, it works just fine on my partner's iphone.
What I've tried for the app:
Unistalling/reinstalling
Airplane mode trick
Turn off WIFI, force app closed
Turn phone off and on
The arlo app does not appear in "Apps Using iCloud" for me to toggle it off

Does he see the invite as "accepted" in his account?
One option is to simply use his credentials on your phone (or in my.arlo.com).

It doesn’t say pending or active on his app. It shows that I have access rights to three cameras and it has the option to remove.
I would just use his log in on the app if I could get past the blue screen with the logo. The app is frozen on that screen.
the website is letting me log in intermittently. Sometimes it reverts back to saying “Request Timed Out” and sometimes it lets me log in.
