1: AUTOI DAY AND NIGHT MODE- STANDARD ON EVERY CAMERA USED FOR SECUITY, NIGHT MODE IS A SEPARATE FUNCTION AND SPOTLIGHT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE ON TO HAVE COLOR DURING DAYLIGHT! IT'S CALLED AN IRIS, IT OPEN AND CLOSES DEPENDING ON LIGHT OR DARK, HIRE AN ENGINEER FROM SONY OR CANON. I'VE BEEN USING AN 8K MONITOR FOR 12 YEARS AND YOU PEOPLE CANT PUT A SIMPLE LENSE WITH APERTURE.
THE DASHBOARD LAYOUT AND TABS ARE REDUNDANT OR USELESS! MY 3 YEAR OLD GRANDSON COULD HAVE DONE BETTER!
AND SINCE I HAVE TO TURN THE LIGHT ON TO GET COLOR THE TAB STAYS DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN BLOCKING MY IMAGE! THATS SPECIAL! ANY FIRST YEAR PROGRAMMER COULD FIX!
LAG, DELAYS- A SECURITY CAMERA THAT TAKES 10 SECONDS TO ACTIVATE IS WORTHLESS! SECONDLY, IF THE NIGHT VISION IS NOT ACTIVE THEN WHY THE HELL DOES THE SPOTLIGHT NEED TO BE ON?
AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS WITH FAILURE AND FRUSTRATION THE ONLY RESULT i AM NOW GOING TO LET PAY FOR IT IN YOUR STOCK PRICE! THERE WILL BE A MASS BROADCAST ADVERTISING YOUR SHORCOMINGS

My spotlights only come on at night, so either something is wrong with your camera, or something is blocking the sensor on the camera face.
If the camera is new, you could exchange it with the seller. If it is too late to do that, you can check the warranty - and possibly get a warranty exchange from Arlo Support.
Another thing you can try is a hardware reset of the camera.
- remove it from the account
- remove the camera from the housing, and press the sync button until the camera flashes amber (~15 seconds)
- add the camera back to the account.
