We have an old Windows machine that I'm not sure the hardware will support 2k or 4k playback. We want to be able to view the videos from a browser (Edge sounds like the only windows option at this point). What do I need to look for and does anyone have any suggestions on what to get or where to start?  It will be mostly for surfing the internet and viewing the Arlo Ultra 4 camera.  Right now I can view 2k on a mac laptop using safari but would like to purchase a new Windows desktop and monitor.  Thanks for any suggestions.

dogspring55,

To view 4K content, the browser/player needs to be HEVC compliant. For more information on this, take a look here: Which devices are supported for HEVC 4K or 2K playback?
