Why doesn’t my ultra camera not record on my 4000 base station

What have you tried and what do you see? The USB drive has to be at least 16GB and be formatted to FAT32. Formatting when connected to the base is the easiest way to do that.

The VMB4000 supports local recording, but it does NOT support playback.  The ONLY way to see the recordings is to eject the storage using the app, and then connect the storage to a PC (browsing for the recordings).

Have you done that?
