After upgrading to the latest Arlo app (iOS) today, I am very disappointed on a number of levels including having to subscribe to a new multi-camera plan (have 2 hubs linked to 3 cameras per hub in different locations) when the previous plan enabled me to cover all devices in two seperate locations with easy to configure and use geofencing.
The new app now has all devices in the one plan in the one location. The support consultant stated why would see if I can revert back to the previous app. Anyone with guidance please?

You can create a second location, and move the devices in one location into it. That will require removing them and readding them.
The downside is that you will need a second subscription. Note the terms of service have required this for quite a while, but the old interface did not enforce it.

Thanks for taking the time to respond StephenB. Had I known that I would not have upgraded the app. Unfortunately, there seems no way of rolling back.

Some have persuaded Arlo support to migrate them back. That is apparently difficult - and at best a delaying tactic, since Arlo will eventually migrate everyone to the new interface.
That said, it is clear that Arlo needs to add back custom modes, or create equivalent means to control groups of cameras. That likely will give you back the controls you need for scheduling and manual management. But probably not geofencing for both places, since that is tied to your location settings.

I’ve been holding off on upgrading, until arlo improves the new app or I’m forced to do it - I’m sure everyone will be forced to it in due time.
the better question is - when will they address the concerns?

I don't think there's any way to predict the timetable. I don't expect them to force the migration for everyone until they resolve the most signicant issues.
