Got an Ultra 2 set. Couldn't set up because app kept saying 2.4g channel. Spent 3 hours trying network stuff (turning off 5g, rebooting router, etc.). Then spent an hour with Auto Chat Bot and got nowhere (well, a promise of an e-mail sometime). Can't find cameras, can't find base station through either app or computer using browser. 4 hours in and have got nothing setup or working. When do people quit with Arlo and return to store for a refund?

You will need to get the base station added to your account first before you can add the cameras.
Can you confirm that the arlo Base is connected to your local router modem setup using an Ethernet cable.
Confirm the led colour on the base, what is it showing.

If the arlo app is not working you can use the pc connected to the local network to import the Base, the app should work if connected to your local wifi network.

The base station is not discoverable on the network despite showing in the router software as being connected via ethernet and the hub has a blue light. Does not work on device or the website with two different laptops. At this point, trying to work with Arlo, but nothing happening. 8 hours into this . . .

Did you try the paper-clip reset on the base?
If you have internet security software running on the PCs, then try disabling it.
